The Project.
The digitalisation of the AEC sector is increasingly necessary to address the challenges of competitiveness and productivity at an international level.
The Mobilising Project “Digital Construction Revolution – REV@CONSTRUCTION” focuses its efforts on the Digital Transition, with the objective of promoting increased productivity, competitiveness and sustainable growth of the sector, from the design and construction phases to the exploitation phase, and thus creating the foundations for innovation, attracting new companies and making new business models emerge in the future.
Through integrating, transversal and structuring initiatives, the project intends to mobilize the AEC Sector for the Digital Revolution.
Activities.
REV@CONSTRUCTION aims to develop and disseminate digital solutions to the AEC sector’s companies, involving architects and designers, as well as venture managers or construction companies.
Its R&D activities are directed to the development of digital tools that will facilitate the introduction of the Digital Twin concept in the construction industry, and its intervention is focused in four big main areas.
