This workshop is part of a series of workshops that will be promoted under activity 4, &#8220;PLAN4Digital&#8221;, of PPS1, &#8220;Digi4Construction&#8221;, to contribute to the definition of a Digital Transition Plan for the Construction Industry \u2013 Plan4Digital.<\/p>\n\n<p>Thus, this first workshop sought to define a consensus model for the action plan and identify concrete and strategic measures to be adopted for the digitalisation of the AEC sector. To this end, the session was divided into two parts: an <strong>expository session (30 min)<\/strong> and a <strong>debate session (1h30 min)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>The <strong>expository session<\/strong> framed the theme of digitalization of the AEC sector, as well as the objectives of the REV@CONSTRUCTION project, namely activity 4. Specifically, the following topics were addressed:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The Mobilising Project REV@Construction and PLAN4Digital Activity;<\/li><li>Proposed model for the Action Plan;<\/li><li>State of the Art and BIM Implementation;<\/li><li>Legislative Framework.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>In the <strong>debate session<\/strong>\u200b, the dialogue between the experts was promoted with the support of the digital collaboration platform \u2013 Conceptboard in the management and aggregation of the experts&#8217; knowledge. This session was divided into 4 main parts:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Part I \u2013 Barriers to Digitisation\/BIM;<\/li><li>Part II \u2013 Action Plan Model for Digital Transition;<\/li><li>Part III \u2013 Measures for the Digital Transition of the Construction Industry;<\/li><li>Part IV \u2013 General discussion of results.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>For the workshop, which took place indoors, only for guests, several experts representing the different quadrants of the sector participated, including:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Business fabric:<\/strong> AECOPS (Association of Construction and Public Works and Services Companies); Grupo Casais; Gabriel Couto; Grupo ACA; APPC (Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Portuguese Association of Designers and Consultants); Engexpor; Quadrante; A400; TPF; and Grupo Mota-Engil.<\/li><li><strong>Competencies:<\/strong>\u00a0 Universidade do Minho; Instituto Polit\u00e9cnico de Leiria; ISCTE \u2013 Instituto Universit\u00e1rio de Lisboa; Ordem dos Arquitetos; and Ordem dos Engenheiros.<\/li><li><strong>Hiring and Management:<\/strong> EPAL \u2013 Empresa Portuguesa das \u00c1guas Livres, SA; Infraestruturas de Portugal; Lisboa SRU \u2013 Sociedade de Reabilita\u00e7\u00e3o Urbana; Gaiurb, EM Urbanismo e Habita\u00e7\u00e3o; Comiss\u00e3o T\u00e9cnica 197 \u2013 Building Information Modelling (BIM); and Comiss\u00e3o T\u00e9cnica 204 \u2013 Gest\u00e3o de Ativos.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The PLAN4Digital workshop took place on April 27, 2022, between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm, virtually.
